Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has claimed that the players at his disposal are not mature enough to compete.
Following their midweek 4-3 victory over Manchester United, the Blues drew 2-2 with relegation-threatened Sheffield United on Sunday.
Blues conceded the second equalizer in the 93rd minute at Bramall Lane.
“At 52, you can tell right away if the team is ready to compete,” he told reporters after the game.
“Perhaps this group is not mature enough to participate in games every three days. “This is a new crew, and we’re still learning about their backgrounds. “The process always takes time.”
