According to football analyst Fabrizio Romano, the player’s emotional outburst could be attributed to the fact that he lost out on his final European match. Manchester City overcame Chelsea at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, advancing to the FA Cup final.
They now await the winner of the second semifinal match between Manchester United and Coventry. Romano shared photos of Brazilian player Thiago Silva crying after a game at Wembley Stadium, stating that it could have been his last final in Europe. “Thiago and Chelsea will discuss his future soon, he could leave the club at the end of the season — as current deal expires in June.”
