Sabalenka and Badosa were practicing in Stuttgart when Jabeur, after an embrace, walked into the middle of them with a broom. Then, following Badosa’s win, she was with Jabeur, whom the Spaniard referred to as her best buddy on tour. This led to a back and forth on social media with the trio.
Jabeur practiced with Badosa at Rome who faces Mirra Andreeva today and asked where Sabalenka is. Both said though that she’s likely celebrating her birthday in Madrid where she turned 26. All three play in Rome this week but after reaching the Madrid final, a late arrival is likely for Sabalenka. This clip got Sabalenka’s attention though as she replied: “I’ll see you soon @onsjabeur @paulabadosa.”
